Our food, yum yum.....

Cameron enjoying our trip to Walmart

So we had a busy day! Tyler worked this morning, then came home for lunch. We ran to the bank, Walmart, and the dollar tree. My mom kept Adam and Allanah and we took Cameron. Cameron did not know what to do going somewhere with us alone. I posted a picture of him playing with a lime in the cart at walmart. Then I went home and made Texas Caviar, it
has a whole lot of beans, ro tel, cilantra, lime, and all kinds of seasonings. Google the recipe, there are many variations. We went to Mom and Dad's with Amy and Allen and the boys and we had nacho's and Texas Caviar, little smokies, and ice cream cake. The kids are going to decorate a gingerbread house and play games, and we have the wii and a couple movies. Lana also got her Christmas gift from Amy which was held up in the mail. Lots of pictures below.

Peanut butter and jelly bars

Last night was busy Michael stayed over with Adam but they were so excited you could tell they had not seen each other in a while. I made the best peanut butter and jelly bars out of my new cookbook, they were yummy. They were gone by morning.

Peanut Butter

So we had a nice productive day at home with lots of rearranging of clothes and toys. We made turkey and noodles and took some to Mom and Dad tonight. While we were in town Rach gave us a Christmas gift it was several bags of microwave popcorn, ranch seasoning for popcorn, 2 boxes of candy, a peanut butter cookbook (super cool), and it was all in a cute Christmas bucket. The kids were super happy with the food stuff, and I tried out the new cookbook tonight. I was going to make banana muffins for breakfast tomorrow, then saw a recipe for peanut butter
banana muffins, oh wow they were good. I even took a picture, it made 36 mini muffins.
------------
In other news Cam has been walking around all day wanting food, and when he does he says "I eat eat" its so cute.

He now says:
Mom
Dad
Nana
A (for Amy)
Meow
A-R of the alphabet

hi

bye

Eieio (from Old McDonald)
Deep and wide (and the motions to the whole church song)
Twinkle Twinkle
Num num

I think that is it but he does pretty good. I need to get him to bed its almost 11.

The day after Christmas

So Tyler had to work for a while today but the kids and I slept in. Tyler got home and we all went out for lunch. We then went to the VF Mall and I got jeans with my gift card which was very exciting. Tyler went out to the van while I was paying for my jeans and Lana insisted on riding Buzz Lightyear, so she had a blast..... Next we hit Wal-Mart and got a few Christmas clearance deals and a tote for our new tree. The lines and crowds were terrible. We picked up Cameron's new glasses (they look just like the old ones only they are not bent and scratched, and all the rubber is not chewed off). Next we went home, then to Mom's for leftovers. Tomorrow I plan to cook turkey and noodles, it will be yummy. I'll leave you with a picture!

So Christmas 08 is done.... It was a great Christmas, we all got so many neat things and enjoyed spending time with family. We got a food dehydrator, gift cards, pots and pans, a new guitar hero game (for Tyler mainly), cupcake pan, new shoes, and the kids got way too much to mention. They have not slept much for a couple days but Cameron is still going strong. I have some cool pictures my silicone cupcake liners, Adam, Allanah, and Cam with their new things, Rachael and I in one, and my Dad and my sister in a picture. I did not take enough pictures this year it was so busy. I am so tired tonight maybe we will all get a good rest this weekend.

Eggs

So its 1am and Rachael and I just deviled eggs, it was quite fun. We used my new frosting gun and they were so so pretty. We did not want to mess them up with saran wrap so first we used stirring straws to hold up the wrap. Ok there really were more important things that happened today other than eggs.... cam had his ENT appt and his ear tubes look great they are dry and in place. We also ate at Gary's Italian place tonight it was wonderful food. I need to sleep....

Nap

This evening the cat Allanah calls Dora (and Tyler and I call cat because Tyler refuses to call a boy cat Dora, but that's another story) took a long nap. If we all could look so relaxed when we nap......

Church Christmas program

All the kids at church after we ate snacks

Above is Adam reading his Christmas Part!

Allanah and her class, Cameron decided he was not going to sing.

Allahah's class again

So its been a busy few days. We had church yesterday morning, Awannas last night, then we went straight to the program at our normal church. Adam read his part so good. Allanah recited her part and sang Jingle Bells. Cameron stood by the kids but was not very happy and certainly
did not want to sing. In the picture Allanah is on the far left. We then had finger foods and visited in the gym. All the kids at church had their picture taken before we left. Now the kids and I have been just taking it easy all morning, Cameron has a ENT appointment in Rolla
this afternoon to check his tubes so that will keep us busy. Enjoy the pictures!

Haircut number 3

what a cool toy!!

Blowing a kiss, how cute!!!!!

Ok so this is my 3rd post for the day but we had a big day. Cameron got his 3rd haircut Tyler did it and he looks so so big now. Its much easier to take care of but I miss his cute curls. We went to Wal Mart tonight and picked up this vibrating hedgehog that makes noise and Cam loved it so much he would not put it down. The other kids begged too so we bought it. It was a fun night but we are tired. Cameron is yawning in the second picture!

Make up time!

So I am a little behind. On Thursday night Allanah decided after dance class she would put makeup on. It ended up all over our sheets and the lipstick was hard to get off of her eyes, but all is well now.

Cameron

So it has been such a busy day. We ran crazy all day. One thing that amazed me tonight was the fact that Cam tried to steal and frosted mini wheat out of my bowl tonight, which would be fine if he could have the milk, but he can't. I told Tyler get him some cereal and he got apple jacks, Cam threw them in the floor one by one. I said he wanted what I have. So Tyler got him some frosted mini wheats without milk, and he loved them. I can't imagine them without milk, I like them soggy, and we could have put his formula on them but he is pretty messy with milk.

In other news walmart forgot to order his formula, even though I placed the order, so I had to get mad at the manager and she apologized and I said that's fine your loss of 450 dollars (yes that's the cost of one month of Elecare). So now back to Lebanon to get it tomorrow after they
quickly ordered it for me today. We have a makeup dance class tomorrow so I will get it then. Check out of the cute pics of Cam! I look terrible, so ignore me lol......

O' Christmas Tree.....

So we decorated our tree Sunday afternoon and the kids loved it. Cameron would rather play with the ornaments though, so all ornaments are now above his reach. Enjoy our pictures, I have finally figured how to turn pictured, I am getting better at this all the time.
