They were having "snow" much fun!

The kids went out again this afternoon to play in the snow that was left and I managed to snap a picture or two. They loved making snow angels. Adam was also making prints with a piece of wood. Cameron was napping till about 6:30 pm. Cameron did not get to play in the snow due to his infection. Gotta love Allanah's snowsuit she refuses to get rid of its a 2t if you notice the shortness.....

Snow!

Today we were out for the second day for ice and snow, we are out again tomorrow. We will now lose Presidents Day, and 2 days of spring break... The kids have played in the snow a couple times, I will make sure and take pics tomorrow!

The simple things

Its amazing how kids love the simple things. For a while Camerons favorite "word" was eat-eat... now his favorite "word" is see. Last night he was playing with a little flashlight and he would run to me and say see see so excited. Tonight his gear toy stopped working and he brought it over pounded it on my lap and said see as if to say come on fix it...

Allanah watches Calliou on PBS and she watched it yesterday afternoon. Last night she came in the kitchen and said I have the flu I thought oh no I said you do she said yeah Rosie on Calliou had the flu today and I think she gave it to me. So I said oh I think you will be ok I don't think you can get the flu through the tv lol...

Cameron

Its been a very long day.... Cameron did not sleep well last night we were not sure why and this morning it sounded like he was getting a cold. Then his ear started bleeding, not a good thing, we took him to Dr and he has an infection. Its still draining, poor kid.... here's a couple pics of him tonight.

Cake

I just wanted to show off this beautiful Boston Cream Pie (sorta) that Tyler made. I helped a little but he did most of it, it came out of our peanut butter recipe book, and instead of using vanilla pudding we used chocolate in the middle with the peanut butter. You can only imagine how rich it was, thank you for the cookbook Rach its awesome! At this point I am just exercising hoping to break even each day I guess lol.

Springfield Discovery Center

So we went to see my Dad in the hospital today. He was doing well seemed to be very ready to go home. After we visited him for a while we decided to take the kids to the discovery center because we have a family pass and thought it would be nice for them to get out some
energy. They had a blast, and were ready to go back and see Papa some more. We then went and got the kids some lunchables to snack on and we are on the road home. We have no school tomorrow so with any luck we can just sit home and relax, while Daddy goes to work! I will post pics of the discovery center and caption them later.

Dad's Surgery

Cameron is reading a magazine, what a smart kid!

Wow Cameron loves chinese food!! He finished 2 plates of food.

So we left the house this morning about 5:30 to head up and see Dad before his surgery. He went in about 8:00 or a little before and it lasted a couple hours and all went well his doctor seemed very happy with the results of the new pacemaker. Cameron went with us to Springfield and Adam and Allanah went to Tyler's parents for his Mom to watch. Cameron was very good and I have a few pictures of his pretending to read, playing, and eating lunch. He loved lunch, we had chinese and he ate 2 whole plates of food. They are all asleep before 10 I guess the day wore them out.

Tu tus

So Allanah got a book for Christmas that has a kit to make your own tie tu tu. I did this last night it is adorable. Allanah was not up so I wanted to see it on a person so I tried it on Cameron and he was not happy! Anyway Allanah wore it to dance tonight over her leotard and she looked so cute. She had so much fun at dance tonight she said her favorite part was the monster dance, I am not sure what that was but she was excited about it.

Movie Sadness and Dress Madness

Wow two updates in one day!!! So this evening we tried to take the kids to the moves and the theater was closed for renovations for the day, lot of people were showing up and very mad. The kids were so sad. Then we went to get Adam's DS games with his Christmas money and at the game store they were having a sale buy 2 get 1 free so we got used games: Cars, Finding Nemo, and Yoshi something or another. We got all 3 for 30 not a bad deal at all because at Wal-Mart one good game is 30. So we went to Wal-Mart and decided to get Cameron a potty chair its so cute I attached a picture. We also saw a rack of the prettiest dresses that had been 18 dollars for 4 dollars on clearance, so Lana got a beautiful one. Tyler said she is not going to the prom or anything and I said but its so pretty, then when she tried it on tonight he said ahh it is cute. Then after Wal-Mart on to McDonald's so the kids could get energy out, but they were so tired they were not thrilled about playing. I took a picture of Adam pouting for ice cream. We ended up leaving with him screaming and he screamed till we got off at our exit and got gas. We came home and everyone is finally settled and asleep, and Wendy and I are playing Guitar Hero fun fun!

Back to routine

So it has been hard to get everyone back on routine this week. We had dance class for Allanah on Monday, nothing Tuesday night, church Wednesday, and last night I worked a little late so it has been a wild week. My Aunt Vicki brought the kids money for Christmas on Wednesday they were so thrilled. We will go tonight and watch Madagascar 2 and Adam will get a new DS game. Allanah got a new playhouse that is in her room, and Cameron is getting a new bed. I have some pictures attached of Allanah, oh and the new stroller I bought this week its so neat I really like it!
